Character to be filled Obed's friend and former fling.
Deity Giltinė, Baltic death goddess with a poisoned tongue. Quick-witted, honest, empathetic but extremely (sometimes coldly) logical.
Brief Description of Character Giltinė met Obed in Stuttgart, was with him when he discovered his family's past, and had a brief, ill-advised affair with him. They've remained good friends since.

Character to be filled Campus psychotherapist and psychiatrist at Berkeley Haas.
Deity Izanami-no-Mikoto, Shinto death/creation goddess. Bold and outspoken, driven, vengeful.
Brief Description of Character Izanami-no-Mikoto helped Obed come to control his nightmares, to an extent. He first saw her while a senior in college and for some time following his graduation, but has fallen out of touch since.

Deity Charon, Greek Ferryman of the Dead. Dutiful, honest, loyal.
Brief Description of Character Obed met Charon in Mendocino County, CA, shortly after moving there. They went to Berkeley Haas together and have worked closely together ever since. Obed trusts Charon implicitly and relies heavily upon them in both his work and personal life.

Character to be filled A friend of Persephone's from college.
Deity Xochiquetzal, an Aztec deity of fertility and female sexual power, a protector of young mothers and a patron of pregnancy, childbirth and crafts practiced by women.
Brief Description of Character Isobel and Xochiquetzal both attended Los Angeles City College, ending up in a night class together. Due to similar interests, they became fast friedns and remained in touch after Isobel earned her degree and moved on to UCLA. Xochiquetzal would have some knowledge of Isobel's stalker, though not all the details.

Deity Cernunnos, a Celtic god of fertility, life, animals, wealth and the underworld.
Brief Description of Character Isobel met Cernunnos during her time at UCLA. The two took a botany class together, and Isobel remains in touch with her fellow fertility deity.

Deity to be added Demeter.
Pantheon Greek.
Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Demeter is the Greek goddess of argiculture and the harvest. She would have close ties to Persephone, being her mother, and I'd like for them to have a difficult relationship. In my mind, Demeter was an overbearing and controlling mother, who believed she knew what was best for Persephone, without taking her daughter's opinions into account. She does not approve of Persephone's relationship with Hades. However, I'm open to your ideas as well!

Deity to be added Hecate.
Pantheon Greek.
Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Hecate is the Greek goddess of magic, witchcraft, ghosts and necromancy, among other things. In one version of Persephone's kidnapping myth, Hecate is the one to descend into the underworld and bring Persephone back to her mother. I'd like to see an aunt/niece type of relationship, or an equal opportunity friendship. She may or may not approve of Persephone's relationship with Hades; overall I think she'd care more about Persephone's well being. I'd like her to be a strong advocate for Persephone overall. I'm also open to whatever ideas you have in mind!

Character to be filled Rafael's childhood BFF.
Deity Freyja, Norse goddess of love, sex, fertility, war, and death. Freyja does it all.
Brief Description of Character Freyja and Rafael grew up together in a shitty apartment complex in São Paulo. They engaged in some small rebellions together and she helped him come into his own. Together they moved to Miami when they were 18; she stayed in school, he dropped out. Up to you how their relationship fared after that!

Character to be filled Rafael's well-traveled, creative friend and former roommate, an aspiring screenwriter and LA-area native.
Deity Xochipilli, Aztec god of art, games, beauty, dance, gay men, and sex workers.
Brief Description of Character Rafael and Xochipilli met in Miami about 15 years ago, and shortly after, moved to LA together. Xochipilli is an artistic free spirit.

Brief Description I'd love to get a worshiper for Freyr. This guy was likely an early client unable to afford further dates once Rafael made it big in the industry; he's hung up on the whole "I knew you before" angle, and likely shows up at every convention and awards ceremony Rafe attends. Lots of possibilities for different endings to this line...

Character to be filled Chris' BFF
Deity Maui, Hawaiian demigod/trickster god/sun god. Spends his time corralling the sun and moving islands around.
Brief Description of Character Maui and Chris became friends after a fight over a girl, eventually coming to respect one another. Maui is the straightman to Chris' tricksterish ways.

Deity Veles, Slavic god of earth, forests, waters and the underworld.
Brief Description of Character Veles was one of the few "friends" Chris made when he entered his father's employment; the two probably get along mainly due to their age. Otherwise, Chris has never really trusted Veles and has no real idea how the other man feels about him.

I STILL WANT THE MORRIGAN but deets have changed a little.

Character to be filled A leftist/liberal religious or spiritual leader; could be an ordained minister (most likely AME, Lutheran, or Methodist). Think Nadia Bolz-Weber.
Deity The Morrigan, Celtic goddess of war, fate, and death. She figures heavily in witchcraft as well.
Brief Description of Character The Morrigan is a woman in intense control of herself. She is dangerous, but self-possessed, preferring to use violence only as a last resort. She is quietly but deeply religious and/or spiritual, in spite of an undercurrent of nihilism Daniel often comments upon.

Character to be filled Alice and BB's classmate from high school
Deity Tsukuyomi no Mikoto
Brief Description of Character Tsukuyomi no Mikoto went on a date with Alice that was ultimately a plot to embarrass her. He and his friends recorded her waiting, and eventually crying, as she waited for Tsukuyomi no Mikoto to arrive at the restaurant (he had no intention to). He led the crusade of bullying Alice both on social media and at school until BB stepped in and exposed that he was dating two girls at the same time, effectively putting a stop to the teasing he was doing toward Alice and ruining his chances with any of the girls in their school. Tsukuyomi no Mikoto would probably still have a general dislike of Alice, as Tsukuyomi no Mikoto killed her deity (Uke Moche), and may perhaps have a bit of a bad streak and desire to, you know, make Alice's life miserable.

Character to be filled Brittany's older brother.
Deity Resheph, an Egyptian war god associated with plague.
Brief Description of Character Adopted from his native country of Brazil when he was five, Resheph and Brittany have a strong if competitive sibling relationship since they're the closest in age. He's three years older than Brittany, around 28 if apped. Up to you on how he responds to growing up in a white, American household. You'd have some Egyptian connections already in game, plus both BB (Eris) and Gusgus (Tyr)! COME JOIN OUR FAMILY!

Deity to be addedXochiquetzal.
Pantheon Aztec.
Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Xochiquetzal is Gabe's sister both biologically and within their pantheon; she's a deity of fertility. Gabe's sister is the more logical of the two, and went on to become a fertility specialist. I can see her being a huge advocate for women's rights, and easily find a place in L.A. for her work. I'm flexible on who's the older/younger sibling, and open to any ideas you might have about her history beyond their childhood.

Deity to be added Cao-Guiojiu.
Pantheon Chinese.
Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Cao-Guojiu is Gabe's assistant; Gabe is forever forgetful so he was paired with Cao-Guojiu to keep him on track. Cao-Guojiu is an "immortal theatre fan and royal patron of the arts;" I like to think he and Gabe are fast friends, though maybe Gabe gets on his nerves a little with how often he forgets things or gets distracted. His history is yours to do what you will!

Character to be filled Daniel's close friend and some-time fling.
Deity Aphrodite
Brief Description of Character 'Dite is originally from Atlanta, but may have moved to the LA area in high school (NOTE: If she did, she may have ties to Chris/

coyoti as well!). While in Georgia, she and Daniel bonded early over their bisexuality and their combative/competitive streaks. They've remained close into adulthood and keep in frequent contact.

Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) God of wine, theater, orgies, and everything that happens when you overdo the above three. In some myths described as a close friend of Pan's.

Pantheon Norse
Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Hey, everyone knows Thor. He's got a big heart, even if he's a bit of a meathead. He's a little brash, a little rowdy, and always happy for a fight. He drives around in a goat-pulled chariot, which means he's a cool guy. He's a fertility/sky god with a mean right hook. From what little exists of Norse myth, it's evident that Thor and Tyr are good buddies, possibly even brothers. I'd love to explore this in-game!

Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) The big cheese of the almighty Greeks. Father to many, loyal to no one but himself. Don't get on his bad side, he's got a short fuse. Also the god of justice and law, as well as fate. He's benevolent and merciful if it suits him. I've got an errand boy waiting for the right command.

Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Messenger goddess often working for Hera. She rides on rainbows and is associated with the sea. More purely a messenger deity than Hermes is, it'd be fun to have her around, as she probably takes life a little more serious.

Brief Description of Deity (powers, personality, etc) Jaguar god of the night, associated with prophecy, strife, temptation and storms. The foil of Quetzalcoatl, god of the dawn, learning, and priesthood. Has a solid rivalry with Quetzalcoatl, who, technically, was an usurper and destroyed the first version of the world which Tezcatlipoca created (myth of the five suns).
Suggested PB(s) Someone who looks like they gotta be starting somethin'. Preferably of Mexican and/or Latin American descent.

Deity Sigyn
Brief Description of Character Having lost her true love in the first incarnation of Sigyn, another person with Sigyn inside them would be met with outright hostility and a sense of betrayal from Nish, although Loki would be overjoyed. Be prepared for fireworks, and probably not the good kind (at least not right away). Character traits should match Sigyn’s kind, patient manner, but history, characterisation and gender are completely up to the player.

Deity Angrboda
Brief Description of Character In the myths, Angrboda was Loki’s lover outside his marriage with Sigyn. This could be a character that encourages and feeds on Nish’s darker side, perhaps helping her in her obsession for revenge over James’ death. This could become quite a toxic but exciting relationship for both of them. Suggested traits: at least one vice that can validate Nish’s addictions (alcohol/drugs/sex), aggressive/manipulative, dominating/controlling, Chaotic Evil (Type 1). Because some versions of Angrboda have her as a shapeshifter, gender is also up to the player (could even be gender fluid).
